This is the day that we will celebrate Kogarah Public School’s 150th anniversary. An exciting event is being planned. Take a look at what is happening on Tuesday, August 2nd, 2022. We’d love for you all to come and celebrate with us! This event was previously delayed because of COVID and lock-down but it is finally time for us to safely celebrate this event in the coming weeks. We are all looking forward to it.
The whole event will be taking place onsite at the school. The street address is 24B Gladstone Street, Kogarah, 2217.
It starts at 1:30pm with a whole school assembly, with an official welcome, student performances, historic roll call, and also stories from past students, teachers, and community members.
From 2:30pm until 5:00pm, take a trip down memory lane. This will include historic dispalys, student artwork, open classrooms, "back in time" photographs, a time capsule display, and olden day schoolyard games to play.
There will be memorabilia and souvenirs available for purchase.
