All students of Kogarah Public School are expected to wear full and correct school uniform when attending school, sporting events, or out of school activities such as excursions and functions.

There is a summer, winter and sport uniform for both boys and girls.

To assist parents with orientation and transition day, the uniform shop will also be open on these days:
- Wednesday 27 November 11:30am - 4:00pm
- Friday 29 November 8:30am - 1:30pm
- Tuesday 3 December 11:30am - 1:30am
- Thursday 5 December 11:30am - 1:30pm
During the school holidays, it will also be open during these hours:
- Tuesday 21 January 8:00am - 12:00pm and 1:00pm - 4:00pm
- Wednesday 22 January 8:00am - 12:00pm and 1:00pm - 4:00pm
- Tuesday 28 January 8:00am - 12:00pm and 1:00pm - 4:00pm
- Wednesday 29 January 1:30pm - 5:30pm
- Friday 31 January 8:00am - 12:30pm
- Monday 3 February 1:30pm - 4:30pm
School Term Trading Hours: Normal trading hours resume from 5 February 2025
- Wednesday 2:00pm - 4:00pm
- Friday 8:30am - 10:30am
